The bourbon barrel aging character is undiminished in the front. The malt is reflected in a lightly burned treacle middle.The end is mostly alcoholic (10% abv) heat. It has become less a barleywine and more an old ale. The verdict is to stay away from the remaining stock for at least a year. Subject, of course, to guests.
